A concise review on preparation methods used for the development of solid lipid nanoparticles

Solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) are in submicron size range and made of biocompatible biodegradable materials (mainly composed lipids surfactants) capable incorporating both lipophilic hydrophilic drugs. SLNs also considered as substitute to other colloidal drug systems, used controlled systems targeted delivery. can be an alternative for oral delivery vehicle improve the bioavailability drugs, associated reduction toxicity stability GIT plasma. There different techniques preparation SLNs. Generally, any nanoparticle system necessitates a dispersed precursor; otherwise particles produced through use particular instrumentation. This review provides summary on or methods development poorly water soluble drugs improved delivery.
